Red Rocks Reef - Seventeen Seventy 1770

Just south of 1770 and Agnes Waters is a walking track to a secluded beach and Red Rock. Travel along Springs Road and follow the signs, turning onto a sandy track (opposite the Reedy Creek Reserve sign) before parking near the trees to set off on the walking track.  

The walking track consists of a boardwalk, sand, beach and stepping stones. We were the only people on the beach and the scenery was quite beautiful - a lovely spot to have a swim.  I understand that you can often see turtles and dolphins swimming up the coast. The track to Red Rock is on the right as you enter the beach and will take a good hour. This was a lovely way to spend an afternoon exploring the rockpools and enjoying the beautiful weather.
