Rollingstone is a small community approximately 54 kilometres north of Townsville, Queensland. This is a pineapple and growing area and the rural community of Rollingstone is about 1 kilometres from the Bruce Highway - turn onto Whalley Crescent.
Facilities in Rollingstone include a service station, general store, hotel and caravan park. Rollingstone is not far from Balgal Beach which is popular for fishing, swimming and camping, golf and bowls. If you want a bit of luxury then head further along the Bruce Highway onto Hencamp Road (just north of Rollingstone) to the Rollingstone Beach Front Resort - a BIG4 caravan park with absolute beach frontage and wonderful cabins, caravan sites and camping grounds.
