Carnarvon Gorge - Visitor Centre - Rolleston

Carnarvon Gorge Visitor Centre is where you park when wishing to explore the walking tracks into this beautiful part of Carnarvon National Park. There are plenty of parking spaces, public toilets and information signs. Walking tracks are easy to follow and there are even some toilets along the way - these are marked on the Walking Trail Map. Note - take plenty of water.

Carnarvon Gorge Visitor Centre  has a topographical model of the gorge giving a great perspective on the area.  Stories of local aboriginal people and the history of white settlement in the area are displayed on boards around the room.  Pictures of plants and animals with stories on their habitat are also on display - these are useful to identify things you may see on the walk.  

Well worth a visit.
