The Peanut Van sits alongside the Bunya Highway (Youngman Street) in the middle of Kingaroy, Queensland. Of course we stopped at the peanut van before leaving town to purchase some of the local products. Joh Bjelke-Petersen made this area famous as the peanut farmer who became one of the longest serving Premiers of Queensland.
The Peanut Van sells a huge variety and you are able to taste before you buy - I can highly recommend the salt and vinegar variety. The Chilli ones were very popular with some members of my family but a bit hot for me.
