Ilfracombe is a small town in central Queensland, about 27 kilometres east of Longreach along the Landsborough Highway. You will remember Ilfracombe if you have every driven through the town as there are a number of old trucks and tractors displayed along the main road.
The Ilfracombe Caravan Park is very popular with RV travellers in this part of the country with great friendly service and plenty of activities. They encourage happy hour and have home cooked meals for sale during the busy season.
The pub is in the centre of town which serves cold beer and hot meals - a covered verandah to enjoy a drink with friends. The Ilfracombe Memorial Park, located in the centre of town contains a swimming pool and Artesian Spa. We saw several people walking along the main road with a towel over their shoulder.
