The Devils Pool Walk is located at Babinda Boulders and takes you along a lovely shaded track to the main boulders viewing platform. The Boulders are a series of huge outcrops of granite found along Babinda Creek - about 6 kilometres drive from the small town of Babinda in northern Queensland.
This walk is fully sealed and fairly easy going through tropical rainforest trees, ferns, vines, fungi, moss and lichen - nice and cool on a hot Queensland day. The walk follows the banks of the creek with some lovely shaded spots to stop and view the rush of clear mountain water flowing over the boulders.
The main park has covered picnic areas, barbeques, children’s play equipment, toilets and changing rooms as well as plenty of open grassed areas. The Devils Pool Walk is clearly sign posted and leads from the parking area.
A free camping area is provided nearby with space for caravans and motorhomes.
