Eric is a qualified accountant who has worked in public practice for over 25 years. He is a registered tax agent, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
How we operate The aim of Grey Nomad Tax Advisers is to aid Australians who spend some (or all) of their time on the road, just like we do. It is not necessary to meet with you ‘face to face’ to prepare your tax returns, or answer your question. By using a range of modern electronic options, such as email and Dropbox, we can obtain copies of the relevant information from you and prepare your returns. We then return documents to you for signing and receive those signed documents back. There is no need for you to travel distances or return home to keep your tax obligations up to date. Eric Taylor After a varied career, including starting work as a bank employee and then owning a small supermarket for over 7 years, Eric obtained mature entry to the University of Adelaide and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. From that time he has worked as an accountant in public practice. While Eric enjoys working with his clients to resolve their tax issues and lodge their tax returns, he decided in 2014 that it was time to wind back a little and enjoy more of what Australia has to offer. With his wife, they purchase a motorhome, however, he decided he was still able to assist individuals to fulfill their tax obligation. Eric established his own tax practice and now assist a range of clients, both from his home and from the motorhome while touring. To those on the road, he is known as Grey Nomad Tax Advisers, while for those nearer his base in South Australia, West Beach Taxation. Eric is also an ASIC registered SMSF Auditor and undertakes the auditing of Self-managed Superannuation Funds.
