Lazy Lizard Caravan Park & Tavern - Pine Creek

The Lazy Lizard Caravan Park and Tavern is in the middle of Pine Creek, Northern Territory.  We called in here to purchase some items before heading into Kakadu National Park - Park Passes ($25 each - valid for 14 days), fuel and beer.

The Lazy Lizard Tavern is a unique building constructed from termite mound-mud brick, and local ironwood. Animals are carved into the wooden supports inside the tavern - the sinks in the toilets are also made of timber and one had a carving underneath of a turtle's head and legs. Beautiful.
