During our recent family holiday in Sawtell staying at the Sawtell Beach Holiday Park we spent many enjoyable hours eating and drinking at Split Cafe. This cafe is only a short walk from the caravan park. They are always busy with a number of tables set up on the sidewalk as well as some inside this funky cafe on the main street.
The staff use mobile phones to send orders to the kitchen and our coffee and tea appeared very quickly. They have a range of yummy cakes or slices and serve breakfast or lunch - seven days a week from 7 am to 5 pm. One side of the cafe has a range of cycling gear and it is a popular spot for weekend bike riders to enjoy their caffeine hit after a road trip.
We were very impressed with the staff who quickly joined tables to cater for our group of eight or more. Great coffee, great food, quick service with a smile - what more can I say. Highly recommended.
