The Prince of Wales Hotel can be found on the corner of Sydney Street and the New England Highway as you drive through Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley of NSW. In fact this is the major intersection where you will need to turn right when heading towards Scone from Newcastle. The Hotel was within walking distance to the Riverside Cabin and Van Park where we had decided to spend the night in our caravan.
Prince of Wales Hotel has quite a large bar area and we stopped by for a drink before dinner. The staff were welcoming and we enjoyed chatting to the friendly barmaid. The meals offered at the bistro were reasonably priced with a good choice.
