Rich River Golf Club - Moama

Rich River Golf Club is about six kilometres from Moama on the NSW side of the Murray River - follow Perricoota Road and then turn onto Twenty Four Lane. We drove out to look at this magnificent golf course while visiting Echuca/Moama during our caravanning trip along the Mighty Murray.

At Rich River Golf Resort you will find a very large club house, accommodation, two golf courses, a golf driving range, croquet greens, bowling greens and tennis courts. The Clubhouse itself has several dining options and a large outdoor (shaded) eating area overlooking one of the courses. They even have a great function room upstairs with floor to ceiling windows which apparently allows wonderful views of sunset over the fairways. The Pro Shop is in a separate building and is very well stocked - just in case you forget something.

There is an area behind the tennis courts available for an overnight stay in your caravan or motorhome. If you join the club as a social member ($12 per year when we visited) then you can stay for a couple of nights on an unpowered site to enjoy a round of golf and/or a meal at the club.They even have a dump point - this is locked and a key available from reception. This area has plenty of shade and is fairly flat.

We thought this was a lovely spot to spend a few days and hope to take our golf clubs on the next trip so we can stay at the Rich River Golf Club Resort and enjoy a game and a meal.
