Corowa Visitor Information Centre is located in the Civic Centre near the sporting ovals and the Murray River. There is a large car park beside the Centre with plenty of room to park while towing the caravan. You are able to hire a push bike from here and then grab a guide to cycling/walking trails in the area.
Of course the Visitor Information Centre has brochures on accommodation (motels, caravan park or farm stays), local wineries, attractions such as the Murray Bank Yabby Farm or Corowa Whisky and Chocolate, as well as the various sporting facilities in town. This historic Country NSW town, has some great old buildings and you can find out about the birth of Federation in the Corowa federation Museum - well worth a visit.
We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the shade of a large gum tree near the centre before continuing our journey along the Murray River.
