Broken Hill Tourist Park

Broken Hill Tourist Park is a Top Tourist Park located on the Barrier Highway as you drive into Broken Hill from South Australia. We were able to choose our site which was wide, level and close to the amenities (old but clean and tidy).  

Broken Hill Tourist Park Reception is open daily and facilities include:

• a range of cabin accommodation from superior to budget
• pet friendly
• powered or unpowered camping and tent sites - some with ensuites
• Solar heated swimming pool
• fully equipped camp kitchen - shaded eating area and barbeques
• three amenities - laundry facilities - disabled bathroom 
• two children's playgrounds
• wifi internet access
• van storage while you explore 
• Dump Point

This is a neat park with most of the sites covered in bark chips - I think to keep down the dust. We found the staff friendly and helpful and there is a large parking area for you to leave the van while you are checking in at reception.  They will book local tours and offer a  forward booking service to other Top Tourist parks (for members). The Broken Hill Tourist Park is easy to access from the highway and well sign-posted - we would definitely stay here again.
