Telegraph Hill is located south of Wyndham and up until 1921 was an import communication facility for this part of Western Australia. All that is left at this site are the remains of building that once housed the Telegraph Station and the people who worked there. From Telegraph Hill you can see Marglu Billabong and Parry Creek as well as a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to take photos but be aware that the road is subject to flooding during the wet season.
I would recommend that you continue down the road to Marglu Billabong and take a look from the bird hide at the many birds visiting this water hole. We even saw a crocodile in the shallow water - only for a minute because it soon disappeared.
