The Karratha Lookout can be found behind the Karratha Visitor Centre on outskirts of town - turn off the North West Coastal Highway and follow De Witt Road.
There is a dirt track to the lookout beside the VIC and this will allow great views of the city and out to sea. On our drive up to the lookout we spotted Sturt's Desert Pea flowers growing in the dirt at the side of the road. We had not seen them in the wild before - beautiful.
