The Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre can be accessed from Flynn Drive - just off the Great Northern Highway. This building is also home to the public library and Council Office. There is plenty of parking available and the Centre is open 6 days a week during the busy (dry) season.
The Centre has two Aboriginal art galleries and is an agent for booking accommodation and tours as well as bus travel. I spent ages look at all the interesting things for sale at the Visitor Centre - plenty of locally made products. Dr Sawfish's glass products are for sale here and the hot glass studio is just down the road if you want to see these items being created.
