Goulet Bluff is located about 36 kilometres from Denham, Shark Bay in Western Australia (about two kilometres off the main road). This is one of four camping areas controlled by the Shire of Shark Bay and a permit must be obtained before staying overnight (apparently there is a $1000 fine for camping with authorisation). Goulet Bluff is accessible by 2WD down a good dirt road and I understand it is suitable for small caravans and camper trailers (as well as tents of course) - there are only four sites available.
Goulet Bluff has are no facilities or fresh water - campers are asked to remove all rubbish and stay on designated tracks. This area was very windy when we called in to have a look and is apparently a great spot for fishing.
