Padre White Lookout can be found on Mount Clarence in Albany, Western Australia - follow Marine Drive onto Forts Road and then take Apex Drive up the hill. This Lookout is believed to be the location of the first Anzac Dawn Service conducted by Padre White. This is the same site where many people gathered to watch the convoys of ships departing Australia on their voyage, carrying soldiers to WWI.
As you climb the stairs to the top you will see extracts from letters written by soldiers during the war - very moving. Not only is this a great memorial it is also allows beautiful views over Albany and King George Sound.
On Forts Road you will find the new National Anzac Centre - opened in 2014. This is a great dedication to those who served their country. I think these places should certainly be on your 'to do' list when visiting Albany.
