When travelling between Milang and Langhorne Creek in South Australia we called into Newman's Horseradish Farm. This outlet is open daily for tastings and sales with a cafe and balcony overlooking the farm where you can see the vast number of horseradish plants and vineyards on the property. Of course if you live in South Australia you will have seen Newman's horseradish in the local supermarkets.
This is a beautiful place with lovely gardens and wooden steps leading up to the café and tasting area on the upper floor. You are able to taste all their products before you buy and they even sell a range of local produce (honey, olive oil, dukkah etc). These are reasonably priced and we came away with a variety of products -
The wine is Rusticana and tasting is available to all visitors - unfortunately we did not have time to wait for those in front of us to finish their tasting session so we will have to call in on our next trip. The gardens and setting of this farm are wonderful and there are plenty of parking spaces to stop while towing the caravan. The rvtrips team recommend you take the time to call in and enjoy a visit to Newmans Horseradish Farm.
