Gun Club - Roma

The Gun Club in Roma is a few kilometres out of town in a quiet rural area and they offer caravan and camping sites.

Facilities include:

• caravan and camping year round
• powered caravan sites are on a fully sealed area around the edge of the car park
• tie down for awnings are provided by cement filled drums with eye bolts – ingenious as you cannot hammer through the asphalt
  
• acres of space for un-powered sites
• clean amenities
  
• children’s playground (fenced)
• pet friendly

Deck along the gun club is opened most evenings for a pre-dinner drink and this is well supported by those staying on the sites - a great way to meet people. We thought this was a great spot with plenty of trees providing shade – very well patronised. 

Apparently someone comes around about 4 pm to collect fees for your overnight stay and during our visit they were charging $25 for powered sites and $15 for un-powered sites. Outside major shooting events at the Club or over the Easter Long Weekend a special is offered - stay 3 nights and receive the 4th free.  

This place is neat and tidy and only a short drive to town - we would definitely stay here on our next visit to Roma.
