Lucinda is a coastal town in the state of Queensland, Australia, located at the southern entrance to Hinchinbrook Channel near the town of Ingham. The Lucinda Bulk Sugar Terminal boasts the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere - over five kilometres. It stretches far into the ocean to allow the large tankers carrying the sugar to be loaded in deeper water.
