Murdering Point Winery - Kurrimine Beach

If you want to try something completely different in wines then I suggest you stop at the Murdering Point Winery when heading south along the Bruce Highway from Innisfail in northern Queensland.  As they say in their advertising 'you will not find any grapes here" as all their wines are created from tropical fruits.

They make wines, ports, liqueurs and creams from fruit grown locally and we were lucky enough to have one of the owners take us through our tasting session. We enjoyed some of these wines very much and purchased a mixed case of wine and port to share with our family at Christmas.  Of course these can be ordered on-line and specials are offered for purchases over 5 bottles.

You will drive past Murdering Point Winery on your way to Kurrimine Beach which is a quite village to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
