We called in to take a look at the Forsayth Tourist Park when heading through Forsayth on our way back to Georgetown. This Parks is located next door to the Post Office/Store/takeaway (which is also licensed) and is situated opposite the railway station. The Savannahlander tourist train comes to town once a week - just walk across the road and you will find an ensuite cabin.
The Park is small but has plenty of shade and clean amenities blocks. There is a camp kitchen with barbeque, fridge, oven and cooktop, and plenty of seating. The people at the Forsayth Tourist Park were very friendly and helpful - this is a good place to base yourself if you wish to go fossicking in the area (licenses are available).
