This BIG4 holiday park is located about 17 kilometres from the centre of Cairns where "the rainforest meets the park". A beautiful park with a lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. We were given access to two cabins for photos and these were both presented very well - neat and tidy with lovely facilities.
The two story cabins are open and spacious with the living rooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, large bathroom (with spa) and a separate toilet. These cabins are relatively new and have a covered carport. They have views into the surrounding trees, a covered balcony, and plenty of seating.
The single level cabins are much smaller but still suitable for families with a queen bed in one room and two double bunks in the other. They have a separate toilet, balcony and space to park the car.
The BIG4 Cairns Crystal Cascades Holiday Park has a lovely pool area surrounded by palms and a shaded Children's playground. Alongside the pool is a covered barbeque area with seating - great for watching the children play while cooking dinner.
