Edith Falls Campground - Katherine

Leliyn (Edith Falls) are located on the western boundary of Nitmiluk National Park - about 60 kilometres north of Katherine in the Northern Territory. The Edith Falls Campground is beside the visitors carpark and close to the picturesque waterhole at the bottom of the falls. There is a contact phone number available for the campground (08 8972 2884) - which is for information only. The sites at this campground are available on a first come first served basis and fees are paid at the Kiosk on arrival.  

The campground at Leliyn (Edith Falls) has unpowered sites only and features include:

• an ablution block with toilet and shower facilities,
• basic park furniture - tables
• a water tap providing drinking water for guests
• sites for tents or caravans
• plenty of shade
• flat sites. 

The campground looked like a very relaxing place to stay - the walk up to the falls provides great views of the surrounding area and we saw plenty of beautiful little birds around the swimming holes. I would love to be there early morning to get some great photos.
