Tocumwal Golf Club

Tocumwal Golf Course is definitely one of the great golf courses to visit when travelling along the Murray River. Tocumwal is a lovely little town located on several bends in the Murray River - lovely sandy beaches make it a popular spot for camping and swimming.

Tocumwal Golf Club has two championship courses:

• the Presidents course - lots of trees and deep bunkers
• Captian Course - a links style course with a number of water hazards and well placed bunkers

This course looked to be in very good condition and extremely busy during our visit with a Christmas competition in full swing. The Pro Shop is housed in a separate building to the club itself - down a path behind the main building. There is a practice fairway, practice greens and a driving range - they even have space to park the caravan while you play.  The bistro at the club is open 7 days a week and there is accommodation available for visitors. The Tucumwal Golf Club is easy to find on the road between Tocumwal and Barooga, not far from the centre of town.
