Orange is in Central NSW and we have visited this area several times. The streets are wide and full of lovely shade trees with beautiful old houses. It is easy to walk around the central part of Orange where you will find plenty of cafes and restaurants - I always find time to stop at Roberts Bakery to buy a pie and then head over to Byng Street Cafe for coffee.
Orange is a large place with lots to do - shopping, golf, wineries, Mount Canobolas, mountain bike riding tracks or water sports on the lakes, eating at the local restaurants etc. We spent three weeks at the Colour City Caravan Park and never grew tired of looking around this lovely city. There is a huge variety of produce grown in the local area and you can find this at many outlets in Orange - try some of the local wine which are great. Remember it can be very cold in winter so rug up.
