Molong in on the Mitchell Highway in Central NSW - between Wellington and Orange. This small town has beautiful old country charm with lovely wide streets and old buildings. We stopped at the local Baker for lunch and enjoyed a huge salad roll - country style. On my last trip through Molong I purchased some locally grown cherries - always keep an eye out for roadside stalls in these areas and support the locals growers selling produce.
There is plenty of history associated with this area and it is worth driving around and looking at the old buildings in town. The trees along the main street are stunning in autumn.
