Unfortunately the Living Desert was closed when we visited the area. We headed up to the Sculptures which were very interesting - about 900 metres along the walking trail from the Living Desert Picnic Area.

I did the walk through the Living Desert and got some great pictures of the native flora and fauna. I would definitely recommend this activity if you are visiting the region. The walk is not very strenuous, however I would recommend sturdy shoes. I did the walk just before sunset and the colours of the ground, plants and sky made my photos great.
