Our basic ensuite cabin for a couple or family with up to two children. The main room has a double bed, kitchenette, dining table/chairs and television/DVD player. The kitchen includes a sink, stove top, microwave and small fridge/freezer. There is a small adjoining bedroom with a double bunk bed and there is a separate bathroom with shower over half bath, basin and toilet. Bedding can be hired for beds or guests can bring their own. Mattress protectors and pillows with pillow slips are provided. This cabin is air-conditioned and has heating.
The Bronze Cabin photographed during our visit to the BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park is Number 12 on the park map and centrally located to all other amenities within the beautiful grounds. Some of the old buildings that were originally part of the Botanical Gardens have been renovated and given another purpose - check out 'The Hut', Games Room and Family Bathroom.
This Bronze Cabin has a double bed in the living room with double bunks in the small bedroom for the children. The bathroom has a small bath in the shower base, toilet and hand basin. A round dining table is provided in the living space, along with a lounge to relax and watch TV. Parking alongside the cabin with rails attached to the outside of the building to dry towels or wet clothing.
It is only small but has been supplied with a good range of cups, plates, cooking utensils and crockery. The kitchen has a bar fridge, cook-top and microwave oven for preparing meals while staying in this lovely location in the Goldfields region of Victoria.
This BIG4 park is situated next to the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens with is a great spot for an early morning walk.
