Ideal for travelling with your family, these cabins provide private living and sleeping areas. With a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a double with optional wall bunk bed or single bunk beds in the second bedroom. A full kitchen and covered veranda with outdoor setting gives you that home away from home feeling.
The two bedroom family Cabin we were given access to during our visit to BIG4 Bendigo Park Lane Holiday Park was number C95 - located towards the rear of the caravan park.
This cabin is a little old and tired but I did love the big timber deck along the front housing a large timber picnic table and bench seats overlooking native gardens.
Inside is an alcove kitchen off the living area which is old style but contains plenty of cupboards. This kitchen has an oven, cook top, microwave and again plenty of pots, pans, plates and utensils. The fridge is sitting in the corner of the living room – I guess the old one had to be replaced and the new model would not fit in the allocated space.
The living room has a ceiling fan, TV and relatively new air conditioner, large dining table, but unfortunately the cloth lounge was a bit old and stained. The main bedroom is on one side of the living area and has double sliding doors at the entrance – you can lie in bed and watch the main TV. Built in benches beside the bed with a wardrobe, bench and mirror along one wall.
Bathroom is on the same side of the living areas as the main bedroom and this is an all in one bathroom with small bath at the base of the shower. Built in shelves are conveniently located either side of the large mirror and once again toiletries and hairdryer are supplied.
The second bedroom (opposite side of building to the main room) has two sets of double bunks. One set of bunks is fairly short and I guess suitable for smaller children. Small hanging space and shelves are located behind the door.
A parking space is provided beside this cabin and a ramp leads to the deck.
