Delightful mid range option for a family. Modern 2 bedroom unit comprises queen bed and 2 sets of double bunks with all linen and towels supplied for your convenience. Top bunks fold away if not required. Dining in is a breeze with a well appointed kitchen which includes a full size stove with oven, fridge/freezer and microwave oven, basic cooking utensils and crockery/cutlery. Indoor and outdoor table and chairs. Ensuite shower and toilet with heat lamps and hair dryer. Entertainment is provided with a large flat screen TV with DVD and Foxtel in the living room and an extra TV in the main bedroom. Extras include split system air conditioning, ceiling fans, iron and ironing board, electric blankets and a verandah.
Villa 25 is featured in the photos and represents one of the two bedroom (six berth) villas available at the BIG4 Bendigo Ascot Holiday Park. This is another lovely BIG4 caravan park with lots for the children including - jumping pillow (shaded), mini golf, 1/2 basketball court, recreation room, children's playground (shaded), pool with spa and a lovely toddlers play room.
This two bedroom villa has a very nice welcoming feel for a family stay with a large deck leading inside to an open living area featuring large lounges, TV in the corner, pitched ceiling, air conditioner and a six person dining table. This living space is open to the kitchen which seems to be well equipped – pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, tea towels, upright gas stove, microwave, fridge and caddy containing tea and coffee displayed on the bench. There was even a full ice tray in the freezer which is a feature I like! Nothing like a cold drink on arrival.
Main Bedroom has built in chests of drawers alongside the bed and two wardrobes either side of a bench, mirror and TV. Chest of drawers under the mirror – this is a reasonable size room.
The second bedroom has two single beds with a bunk bed above each that folds down from the wall. A great idea to fold up when not required to stop little ones climbing onto the top bunk. There is a cupboard/wardrobe at the end of each bed that also acts as a support for the top bunk when folded down. A chest of drawers and mirror sits between the beds with a high window for light.
This villa has an all in one bathroom which is a decent size with a mirrored shaving cabinet on the wall above the hand basin. A supply of toiletries is provided on the bench and a hairdryer has been added for use of guests - nice touch.
The main feature of this cabin, for me, was the large deck that runs along the front of the building. This has ample space for the family to sit and relax with a glass top table and six seats plus the added bonus of a gate at the top of the stairs to keep little ones contained. Blinds have been placed along the front of the deck to keep the afternoon sun out, if required, and this deck overlooks the jumping pillow. It is located close to the mini golf, children’s playground and grassed play area. Another plus is an outdoor switch for the lights on the deck – great when arriving home after dark.
There is a big sealed car parking space alongside the cabin with plenty of room for the car and easy access to the stairs leading up to the deck.
