Our two-bedroom Banksia cabins sleep up to six people. There is a queen bed and television in the main bedroom, and two sets of folding single bunk beds in the second bedroom. All bedding and linen is provided. It offers a fully equipped kitchen with four burner gas stove/oven, microwave and large fridge. The lounge/dining area has a two or three seater sofa, television, DVD player, and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and vanity.
The cabins at the BIG4 Ballarat Windmill Holiday Park are easily identified. The name of the cabin is clearly etched onto a lovely piece of timber hung on the front wall – nice feature to help guests easily find their accommodation. Banksia is a two bedroom cabin close to reception – staff will take you to your cabin upon arrival.
A lovely deck sits at the front of the Banksia cabin which is surrounded by gardens allowing a quite drink or cuppa in privacy. This cabin has a good size kitchen with plenty of bench space, under bench oven, ceramic cook top, microwave oven, fridge and the added bonus of a coffee pod machine on the counter. It is well equipped, clean and tidy with a lovely vase of fresh greenery sitting on the table to welcome guests. A round table sits in the living area with two big lounges to relax and watch the TV mounted on the wall. There is plenty of space in the living area for a large family holiday.
This cabin has a separate toilet and bathroom – each accessed from the living room.
Two bedrooms lead from the living room – one with a queen bed, bedside drawers, wardrobe, TV and ceiling fan. The second room has 2 x single beds with bunks above that fold to the wall when unused. This is a great idea when travelling with young children - no temptation to climb upto the top bunk. It is also fitted with hanging space, drawers and a bench.
A car parking space is provided alongside the cabin with easy access to the deck.
