The three-bedroom villa is the ideal family accommodation for guests wanting a little extra room and privacy. Popular, spacious and very comfortable with a generous living area that has two sofas. Modern conveniences, such as microwave and full oven complement the full range of cooking facilities. The bathroom provides a shower and vanity while a separate toilet offers privacy. The main bedroom has a queen bed and television, the second bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk bed above, and the third bedroom has one set of bunk beds. All bedding and towels are provided. With air-conditioning, heating, two televisions, DVD player, and free in-house movies, the three bedroom villa provides all your home away from home comforts. Layouts may vary between villa, with a ramped side entrance or front verandah.
The three bedroom deluxe cabins are a relatively new addition to the BIG4 Ballarat Goldfields Holiday Park and beautifully presented for a large family, two couples or even two small families. These deluxe cabins will sleep up to 8 and the subject of our photos was cabin No 114 on the park map.
This cabin has been decorated with dark timber-look kitchen cupboards, and a bench top matching the dining table. There are stainless steel appliances in this well equipped kitchen including dishwasher (powder under the sink). A convenient island bench houses a microwave oven and provides extra preparation space. Again a great supply of bowls, plates, glasses, jugs, dishes etc, plus three matching canisters on display holding tea, coffee and sugar.
A huge lounge in the living area and a large TV with plenty of space to relax while on holidays. As you enter the hallway from the kitchen you will find a washing machine conveniently located behind cupboard doors - essential holidaying with children. Something else I noticed in this cabin was a sliding door across the entrance to the hallway, separating it from the living areas. Mothers will appreciate this when trying to get children to sleep at night.
The main bedroom is well presented and has plenty of features – long mirror beside the wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. Another smaller mirror is attached to the wall above the bench. This lovely room has it's own ensuite with a lovely molded shower for easy cleaning. There is also a hairdryer attached to the wall.
The second bedroom can have either a queen bed or two single beds depending on the family or couples staying in this lovely cottage. It also has a nice wardrobe, with hanging space and shelves, bench with drawers and a makeup mirror attached on the wall above the bench.
Bedroom three has 2 x double bunks, a deep cupboard with hanging space at the end of one of the bunks and two large drawers underneath one of the bottom bunks. A wall fan is provided for hot days.
Beside this lovely large cabin is an equally large parking space – big enough for two cars and drive through making it possible for a car to park at either end.
I would love to stay in one of these cabins with loads of space to enjoy a family holiday.
